Memphis May Fire Extend Shapeshifter Tour with Fall 2025 Leg

Hot off a buzzed-about spring run, Memphis May Fire are hitting the road again for The Shapeshifter Tour: Leg 2, launching November 17 in Florida and wrapping December 16 in Arkansas. Rain City Drive will join as main support, with Nevertel and If Not For Me rounding out the bill.

The tour supports MMF’s latest album Shapeshifter, out now via Rise Records and praised by SPIN, Idobi, and more. Fans can expect live takes on heavy-hitters like Infection, Hell Is Empty, and Paralyzed.

Boys Like Girls Announce The Homecoming Live Album, Out September 8

Boys Like Girls are keeping the comeback fire alive with The Homecoming (Live from the MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park), landing September 8 via Fearless Records. Capturing their sold-out 2023 hometown gig, the live album delivers a 100-minute set packed with anthems and raw emotion.

Alongside the album news, they dropped a live video for Blood and Sugar — a taste of what fans can expect from the high-energy recording.

This fall, the band will be everywhere — from headline shows and festival slots to a major run supporting the Jonas Brothers through October.

The Acacia Strain Unleash Brutal New Single Holy Moonlight

Metal juggernauts The Acacia Strain have dropped Holy Moonlight, the latest single from their upcoming album You Are Safe From God Here, out October 24 via Rise Records. The track arrives with a blistering new video, previewing the raw doom, sludge, and hardcore fusion the band continues to master.

Vincent Bennett and crew promise a record that’s “unapologetically The Acacia Strain”—uncomfortable, crushing, and true to their legacy. Following last year’s dual LP experiment, this new chapter looks even heavier.

Catch them on tour now through August 23.

IHLO Drop Atmospheric New Single Mute Ahead of Upcoming Album Legacy

UK progressive metal trio IHLO have unveiled Mute, the third single from their upcoming album Legacy, set to release August 29 via Kscope. Blending ambient electronic influences with their signature melodic heaviness, Mute offers a textured, introspective side of the band—and comes paired with a stunning new video produced by Andy Robison.

Following 2019’s breakout Union, Legacy arrives with critical buzz and a broader sonic vision. An album release show is set for September 20 at The Black Heart in London.

Dystopica Drop Ferocious New EP Semblance Of Order + Video for Title Track

Dystopica return with a heavier-than-ever new chapter via their latest EP Semblance Of Order, out now through Pavement Entertainment. Blending classic heavy metal roots with modern and progressive aggression, the seven-track release showcases the band’s sharp evolution.

They’ve also released a performance-driven video for the title track, filmed inside an old Connecticut bank and edited by Emmy-winner Eric Michael Schrader. Vocalist Becky Brideau describes it as a visual metaphor for internal chaos beneath outward appearances.

Claustrofobia Join Crypta for U.S. Tour This Fall

Brazilian thrash veterans Claustrofobia are gearing up for another brutal run through the U.S. this fall, joining Crypta for a 21-date trek starting September 10. After touring with Sepultura, Obituary, and Agnostic Front in 2024, the band is keeping momentum high and promising more mayhem ahead of their next studio album.

Still riding high from last year’s Unleeched, Claustrofobia continues pushing their aggressive blend of thrash and death metal—with new material coming soon. Expect firepower on stage and anthems like Riff Cult and Stronger Than Faith in the setlist.
