Curious what you missed out on at Moco on 10/26? Well I’ve got the run down and images for you! The event began with Nobletiger taking the stage. This was their last show of the year and they put on a great one. Their unique blend of shoegaze and post-hardcore provided a textured set you could both chill out to and rock out to within the same songs. The crowd that had trickled in over the course of their set was delighted to experience these guys rock out for the final time this year.
Next up was punk rockers TV Cop. If you’re a fan of pop punk/skate punk from the early 90s (think NOFX), TV Cop is the band for you. Fresh off a tour, they rocked the night with a quick, but energy filled set. A lone drunk wondering onto the stage did not cause alarm or pause in their playing either. If you’ve been missing out on this punk sound, make sure to check out TV Cop the next chance you can!
Finally, we had the whole reason the Night of the Living Shred show as happening, Dreamthief. A small, crowded stage does not hinder these guys at all. No matter where you see them, you know to expect a high-octane set. This night, Dreamthief gave us a playthrough, in it’s entirety, of their album Disrupt the Flow of Everyday Life. Moshing and a surprise appearance from Hulk Hogan & zombie Frank Zappa all came together in the tight & cozy quarters of Moco to give us the Metal energy we all craved. Dreamthief still has a few shows left in the year. Make sure you get the chance to experience them live sooner than later!
But now, please enjoy the selection of images I was able to capture that night:
