Longtime Guns N’ Roses keyboardist Dizzy F’n Reed is back with Earn It 2 Burn It, the third single off his upcoming solo album Rock ‘N’ Roll Chose Me, due out August 22 on vinyl via 50q records. A digital release follows on September 5.

The official lyric video for Earn It 2 Burn It is out now on Reed’s YouTube channel, offering fans a first look at the track’s raw, unfiltered message.

“The song is about working our asses off and never actually seeing any money at all,” says Reed. “And starting off our lives with incomprehensible debt from the cost of our education to do something else altogether while being pummeled with information about what we should like, want and need.”

A heavy, organ-driven rocker influenced by Reed’s love of metal and Deep Purple’s Jon Lord, the track features Johnny Kelly (drums), Mike Duda (bass), and producer/guitarist Jason Achilles Mezilis.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Chose Me is Reed’s second solo LP and marks a deeply personal shift for the Hall of Fame artist. Across 10 tracks, Reed explores themes of mental health, the American Dream, and resilience through gritty melodies and introspective lyrics.
